Its called the Motor Voter Act no proof of Citizenship required when registering to vote. Bill Clintons first piece of legislation he signed upon entering office. Unless an election is contested (less than 1% difference) or the person is turned in - millions of illegals are in fact voting and have been for years. The rallying cry to get them to the polls is NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN PROSECUTED FOR IT not that voter fraud isn't in fact rampant. Hence why they don't even look, let alone care. Here in NJ voter fraud is actually encouraged. They don't check the signatures when registering to vote by mail. The Asians are legendary for signing X and yet, all these applications are processed.
Yes, the Motor Voter law is the problem because it requires counties to accept that federal voter registration form, which doesn't require proof that a person actually exists. You can register with a made-up name. It must be revoked, revised, etc. All voter rolls in every state should be audited to remove ineligible voters. This has never been done.
There was more than ample reason it was Billy Boys very first piece of legislation. Obama was quoted as saying (back in the days of Chicago) we have to make it easier for people to vote not harder (when the bill was passed.) I'll say! It's doubtful Menendez ever received an honest vote in his life. Hudson County NJ is home to hundred of thousands of illegals. There are way over one million in the entire State and although Bergen County NJ is not the largest County it does have the most registered voters also with plethora of illegals. Trump could've changed everythng and never did - lets see what happens this time. Europe continues to prove you can have decent elections.
I can explain it to you very well. They are Democrats who have no concept of what the law actually is. I could tell many stories of the utter incompetence of the people that work in the Monroe County Courthouse but who were as arrogant as they come.
A long the same lines related to immigration. My sister, a frail elder, is in a very good nursing home in Tippecanoe County. It is the best available. My observation over the last six months is that 80% plus of the nursing assistants are African heritage. So my sister, who speaks Spanish fluently, and enough German to pass the exam for a Phd tells me that her care givers are speaking French. She inquires where they are from. The answer Haiti. This is Tippecanoe County. I'm just curious how many Haitians have been relocated to Indiana. Logansport has had a lot of coverage in the news re: the number of immigrants. Twenty years ago we nurses use to laugh, "better learn Spanish, because that is who will be taking care of you. Now it seems, better learn French. Just saying, the care has been very good, the ladies are great. Nursing assistance is a great entry level job for well educated new immigrants. I just wish there was an orderly and legal approach to immigration.
It's not that they MUST wait until July 1, 2025. It's that they are not REQUIRED to cross-check until July 1, 2025.
And, Secretary of State Diego Morales need to answer WHY he did not instruct the state legislature to make the bill effective July 1, 2024. He could have done so. And the state lawmakers - the chairs of the Election Committees - need to answer why they did not require the bill to take effect this year.
