Absolutely an apology. But, there needs to be massive trials or resignations from state run governmental programs. One cover up, begat another coverup , and so on and so forth.

Apologies? I think there need to be criminal indictments. But, alas, the criminals are in charge of the system.

Apologies followed by resignations are in order and the only accepted action. Politicians and bureaucrats need to feel real world consequences for their actions.

BTW, odd we have a gynecologist in charge of public health let alone our response to a pandemic. Oh well, I guess the podiatrist was busy. Gotta go see my optometrist for this chest pain I’m experiencing 😝

Sure. But no one is calling for that. No one is calling their legislators and asking for that. There were several public hearings before the state House and Senate health committees over the last couple of weeks, and not one member of the public testified saying the health commissioner should resign. So unless something changes and citizens start calling for this, I don't think there's much of a possibility it will happen. (Yes! She's a gynecologist. Wrong doc to manage a pandemic! Her thing is reducing infant mortality. But now we have breastfeeding infants dying after the mom gets a dose of the vaccine!)

The problem is that we called and wrote and called and wrote and stood out front protesting over and over and over and over again for two long years and were completely ignored. I still remember a police escort out of the State House after being invited in by Curt Nisly to, you know, do criminal activities(s/) like use the restroom. He was also escorted out before the GOP ganged up against him and got him voted out for good. Why would we expect a different response now?

Because since that time, Gov. Holcomb was booed off the stage at the state GOP convention and his Secretary of State pick, Holli Sullivan, was defeated at the convention by Republican stalwarts. Also, the chairman of the House Rules Committee, was unseated last year by a young woman who is part of the medical liberty movement. They need to see and hear us, and fear us. They need to feel pressure and know that if they betray the people, they won't be able to hold these seats. Unfortunately, few Republican senators were challenged in the primary in 2022. I don't think that will be the case again.

Apologies are unlikely from these people. The problem is that most of these Covidiots are religious fanatics. They actually believe they are saving the world. They are on a crusade and they will persecute you if you do not agree with their crazed mission.

Steve Kirsch has been among the most prominent in countering the Covid narratives with facts. Good article on testing the "independence and objectivity" of an emerging artificial intelligence (AI) product. Reinforces how fast propaganda can be disseminated. "I tried to redpill ChatGPT. I failed."

There was no ongoing "review" of Covid policies and most unlikely, there never will be. The decisions as to what is right and wrong is being determined by humans absent of the influenced of biblical truth. A "more perfect" Covid policy would include a continual search for the truth and acknowledgement of what worked or is working, what isn't, and what are the needed next steps. These next steps would include mitigation strategies to treat the adverse effects. The Christian message is pretty simple: Actions motivated by love (kindness, patience, knowledge, protection, doing no harm) result in the best outcomes for everyone in the near, mid, and long-term.

They should apologize and step down. They need to pay for bad decisions.

"Second, it’s to make the other person whole."

An apology is a 1st step. Atonement must follow, to even begin to make a victim whole. Assuming that they can be made whole again.

The least I expect from the Republicans is a bill to abolish the state Dept. of Health. Anything less doesn't represent me. They need to strike while the iron is hot.

That would be my preference also. But they are nowhere near doing anything like this, and no one is asking them to do anything like this. They are going to give the health department another $300 million unless citizens get involved and pressure them to withhold it or put conditions on it.

Thursday morning at the Statehouse there's a crucial hearing, of the Senate Appropriations Committee, which will also need to approve the bill before it goes to the full Senate given that it involves an extra $300 million for the Department of Health. Hearing is at 9:30 at the Statehouse, Room 431. We need citizens to testify. Can you come?

We want this. But it's hard to see how it would happen. This is something doable. A sincere apology for harms and admission of error or no more funding. Legislators should be told they need to insist on this.

I work in public education. Not as a teacher but still I’m there every day seeing the kids affected by the “pandemic “ In the middle school arena , these kids have reverted back to grade school level in their growth. Our school had to create an after school babysitting program because these kids can’t go home and wait on their parents to get off work anymore. These are 12 and 13 year old kids who can’t take care of themselves for two or three hours in their own home. They carry around blankets and stuffed animals. They have anxiety attacks and fear. When I was 10 years old I went home after 5th grade to watch 4 younger siblings, one an infant, until my mom got home. At 13 , I was babysitting for my neighbors. Now , a 13 year old is suddenly unable to take care of themselves and they have to be babysat at school. Their level of reading and writing skills have suffered tremendously. Their emotional levels are incredibly stunted. Before the lock down, there was no such thing in my district as an after school babysitter in the middle school level. I’m in awe of the childish behavior of these kids. They are given candy , gum , and other treats. They are STILL eating breakfast in their classrooms. Someone is always crying and complaining that they are not being treated like a elementary school student. It’s like they all are perpetually 10 years old at this point. I see it every day.

An apology is the LEAST you should expect from them!!! The higher-ups in the dept. should all be fired without benefits. If they claim to be victims of orders from the federal gov't., let THAT BE THEIR PROBLEM! They will now have plenty of spare time to pursue a remedy from the federal government, and the state funded health dept. can get on with doing what they can to repair the "damages" that have incurred under the old regime.

They could virtue signal with my new "apology tie." They get on the stage, we throw the long end of the tie over the scaffolding. After they apologize, the floor drops out.
