BREAKING: FBI Director Christopher Wray tells Fox News that Covid-19 'most likely' came out of Wuhan lab
FBI Director Christopher Wray appeared on Fox News today and told Bret Baier that the Covid-19 pandemic “most likely” originated in the lab in Wuhan, China.
Baier had asked Wray about the report that the Department of Energy changed its intelligence assessment to finding that a lab leak was the most likely origin of the virus, rather than a natural origin.
“It cites the FBI,” said Baier. “What is the determination by the FBI?”
“So as you know, Bret, the FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan,” Wray replied.
The FBI, he said, has agents, virologists and microbiologists who focus on the “dangers of biological threats,” including viruses like Covid-19, with concerns that in the wrong hands, they could pose a serious threat.
“So here, you’re talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government-controlled lab that killed millions of Americans,” he said. “And that’s precisely what that capability was designed for.”
He told Baier that the FBI has not finished its investigation and assessment of the origins of the virus that causes Covid, SARS-CoV-2, and that the bureau’s work on this continues.
He said he couldn’t share many details of the investigation, but said the Chinese government has been doing its best to try to “thwart” the investigation and to obfuscate the truth.
In April of 2021, President Joe Biden asked the intelligence community, comprised of 17 intelligence agencies, to look into the origins of Covid-19 and to provide him with an assessment.
An intelligence assessment does not usually attempt to “prove” a case, as would be done in a court of law, but takes into account all information, obtained through investigation, surveillance and by other means, and provides an assessment — a sort of ‘best guess’ about whether something is likely to be true given what is known.
The agencies give their assessment a grade of “low” “moderate” or “high” confidence reflecting how sure they are that it is the correct one.
The Department of Energy, in recently changing its assessment from natural origin to lab origin, had given this assessment with “low confidence.”
The original assessment of all 17 intelligence agencies was compiled and released in late August of 2021 by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
The public information that was released at the time noted that only one of the 17 agencies had found that the virus originated in a lab, and that it had provided this assessment with “moderate” confidence.
The report did not name which agency assessed that the virus came from a lab.
But now we know.
Notably, the DNI said in its August 2021 report that the virus was not developed as a bioweapon and assessed that Chinese officials did not know about the virus before the first cases of Covid-19 appeared in China in November of 2019.

The 17 intelligence agencies are:
CIA
NSA
FBI
Director of National Intelligence (over all others)
Department of Energy
Navy
Army
Marine Corps
Air Force
Coast Guard
Defense Intelligence Agency
Department of Homeland Security
State Department
Treasury Department
Drug Enforcement Administration
National Geospatial Intelligence Agency
National Reconnaissance Office
They are not all created equal, of course. The so-called “big three” are the CIA, NSA and the FBI.

So, we've moved on from the Pfizer bad to the China bad part of the narrative. We'll have to see if this sticks. Those 17 intelligence agencies aren't very intelligent, are they? We know SARS2 came from a lab. We know it isn't natural. We know the Chinese were involved. We've known from the beginning.
When Bret Baier (and Tucker Carlson) address the role of the DoD, Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance as well as the rest of the global cabal, I'll take notice.
Until then, this is just laser-pointer distraction, perhaps a release valve because the information is getting out. Why did the Energy Dept leak this bombshell assessment? Why did Wray go on Special Report? What are they trying to distract us from?
