Indiana's health commissioner refuses to answer when asked about 165 deaths in Indiana reported to VAERS
Indiana’s state health commissioner, Dr. Kristina Box, refused to answer how the vaccine could be safe and effective when the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System shows 165 deaths following vaccination.
I tried to ask her questions today as she exited a hearing where she testified before the Indiana House Public Health Committee.

I introduced myself, noted that I’d requested to speak with her several times over the last two years, and pointed out the high number of injuries and deaths reported to VAERS just for Indiana.
“I’m not going to have this discussion right now,” she said with a smile.
“Why not?” I asked.
She turned her back to me.
I followed her out into the hall and asked whether she still thinks the Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective.
“Yes, I do,” she said, smiling and nodding.
I asked if she would say that to the mother of Haley Link Brinkmeyer, the 28-year-old physical therapist from Evansville, Ind., who died less than 48 hours after getting the Moderna vaccine in January of 2021.
She didn’t answer.
I asked if she thought there should be some accountability for public health officials who promised that the vaccines were safe and effective.
She didn’t answer.
Outside, on the sidewalk leading from the Statehouse, a security guard approached from behind and asked me to let her go to her car, and said I should go to her office if I want to speak to her.
I told him that she does not answer the phone.
Dr. Kristina Box is a gynecologist who was appointed Indiana’s public health commissioner by Gov. Eric Holcomb in 2017.
She was frequently seen seated next to Holcomb at press conferences held during the pandemic.
At a press conference in late December of 2021, I asked why she had not warned people of the risk of injury and deaths from the vaccines and she refused to answer, referring the question to Dr. Lindsay Weaver, the state’s chief medical officer, who works under her.
Thank you for getting the state's position on record. Reinforces how far we have fallen from knowing the difference between right and wrong.
Great job! Fearless. Thank you for helping hold our public officials’ feet to the fire. We need more like you doing this, including all of us!
